Shots fired after Joliet West basketball game

JOLIET – Shots were fired Friday night in the Joliet West parking lot after a basketball game, according to a statement from Joliet Township High School District 204.

No one was injured during the incident at the school in the 400 block of Larkin Avenue, according to the statement, and no immediate arrests were made.

As of about 10:15 p.m. Friday, there were no suspects, according to Joliet Police Chief Brian Benton.

The school district will work with the Joliet Police Department as the investigation continues.
