Police and firefighters responded to an overturned semitrailer at a railroad bridge Tuesday in the Wilmington area.
The incident occurred about 2 p.m. at Interstate 55 at a railroad bridge in the area of Blodgett Road, said Illinois State Police Sgt. Scott Angus.
According to State Police Sgt. Brad Sprague, there were no injuries, but the furthest right northbound lane remained closed as of about 3:45 p.m. as crews worked to turn the semi upright in the interstate's right ditch.
Illinois State Police and the Wilmington Fire Protection District were responding, Angus said.
