D’Arcy Motors in Joliet was recently named the #1 Hyundai dealer in their district for both sales and service. Results are measured based on customer satisfaction surveys sent out by Hyundai, so dealers are rated directly by their customers.
Examples of questions asked by the survey include whether the vehicle was clean and filled with gas when delivered, if the sales staff was impressive, and how quickly the customer was greeted by a salesperson. On the service side, Hyundai asks whether the vehicle was fixed correctly the first time it was brought in, if the vehicle was clean when returned, if the time and cost of service were appropriate, and how the customer was greeted by the service professional, among other questions.
Guy Campobasso, General Manager of D’Arcy Motors, explained why his dealership is so successful. “We’re one group, we don’t consider ourselves part of “sales” or “service”,” he said. “It’s all about the customer. We work together to make sure our customers are taken care of.”
