PLAINFIELD – A marketing services company called Magnolia Insights will hold a workshop in mid-September in Plainfield to help and inspire women.
Called “Get Noticed,” the workshop will offer women networking opportunities, a panel featuring brand-crafting professionals and tools to help them succeed. The first Get Noticed workshop was held March 1 in Chicago, and the workshops are expanding to the western suburbs.
“We recognized there was a lot more women in the Chicagoland area we wanted to reach,” said Tania Haigh, founder and CEO of Magnolia Insights.
The Get Noticed workshop will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. at Warehouse 109, 14903 S. Center St., No. 109. Tickets will be $5 to $65, according to the workshop’s Eventbrite website.
Haigh will moderate a panel discussion, and there will be interactive workshops designed to guide attendees into discovering the next steps for advancing their professional development, according to Magnolia Insights.
The lineup for the event includes:
• Sweta Kannan, Cossette Chicago’s head of planning
• Tracey Bianchi, author and pastor
• Christine Ferris, Magnolia Insights workshop leader
• Sarah Fischer, fitness and nutrition expert
• Sue Koch, Soaring Solutions social media strategist
• Martina Matthews, Sittercity customer success vice president
• Nora Napientek, Nora Fleming founder and CEO
Haigh said company officials always wanted Magnolia Insights to be dynamic. It’s a marketing company first, but they also want it to advance women, she said.
She said the workshop is an exciting opportunity at a fabulous venue.
“We’re really so excited that we’re bringing something so dynamic to the women of the western suburbs,” she said.
