Troop 444’s Zack Kijowski earns Eagle award

CHANNAHON – Boy Scout Zack Kijowski of Channahon recently earned his Eagle award.

He is a member of Troop 444 in Channahon. His Eagle project was building a pergola at Seneca Park in Channahon.

Kijowski earned a total of 67 merit badges and is scuba diving certified therefore earning his BSA  scuba diving merit badge.

He camped a total of 59 nights and hiked 55 miles. He achieved his mile swim award on 6-25-11. He earned his World Conservation award on 02-14-15.. His leadership positions included quartermaster and  chaplain aid.

Kijowski also participated in two high adventure trips: Boundary waters in Canada and Sea Base in the Bahamas.

He also slept on a submarine and cave camped.

He is the son of Debbie and John Kijowski of Channahon.
