Several dozen students and staff members at Brooks Middle School in Bolingbrook recently gathered to make the blankets for Project Linus, a group dedicated to providing “love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort” for children who are seriously ill or traumatized through gifts of new, handmade blankets. 

This year alone, Brooks clubs and athletic teams have donated over $13,000 and dozens of blankets to various groups supporting families in need.
