To the Editor:
As an American patriot, I feel it is important to hope that the person elected POTUS is the best possible ever. Why? Because, as Americans, we are really on the same team.
It disgusts and appalls me to see such reactionary actions by demonstrators, the media and those on Capital Hill; not only actions but subversive tactics to impinge the progress for which the current POTUS strives.
Take away California and the POTUS won the popular vote by an overwhelming margin. The POTUS won hundreds of more counties than his challenger.
That means, not suggests, he has received a mandate from the real Americans who go to work, pay taxes, fight in wars, serve on school boards and town councils, worship in a forthright manner and hold the tenets of this nation close to heart.
Those who want to disavow this mandate by saying no just to be saying no are hypocritical in the largest terms. They profess to be all-inclusive, non-haters. They profess one thing but demonstrate differently with their actions, verbiage and diatribes.
The greatest danger to this nation is not ISIS, Al Qaeda, global warming, North Korea, China or Russia. The greatest danger to this nation is the leadership of the Democratic Party in Washington, D.C. The protocol of that divisive, nefarious leadership is an extremely poor example of how to be the loyal opposition as they act detrimentally at every turn by their enigmatic stances.
It is beyond time for the Democratic leadership and their lemming-like followers to divest themselves of their crying towels and accept the majority of Americans do not embrace their views. Let the voices of REAL Americans be heard. That means for the Democratic leadership to accept reality.
