CHANNAHON – The Channahon Minooka Chamber’s recent Business Spotlight highlights M/I Homes, a new single-family home builder in Channahon.
M/I Homes, 26015 S. Indian Creek Trail in Channahon, is being run by new home consultant Nicole Rowley and is open from Saturday through Tuesday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Friday from 1 to 6 p.m.
“M/I Homes has been in the Chicagoland area since 2007, but we’ve been in business for 40 years,” Rowley said in a news release.
The Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Channahon Minooka Chamber held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new member in May.
“During the open house and ribbon-cutting, the public was able to tour a gorgeous model home featuring the latest home trends at a reasonable price. We are excited to have an innovative builder in our community and as Chamber members,” Chamber Executive Director Christina Van Yperen said in the release.
M/I Homes was founded in 1976 by Irving and Melvin Schottenstein and has fulfilled the dreams of almost 100,000 homeowners growing the family business into a national leader, according to the release. The M/I Homes community in Channahon, Hunter’s Crossing, has seven single-family floor plans ranging from 1,815 square feet to a little more than 3,100 square feet, according to the M/I Homes website.
