JOLIET – The Joliet Park District has joined the city's Hurricane Harvey relief campaign, adding two more locations where people can bring donations.

The added locations are: Inwood Athletic Club, 3000 W. Jefferson St.; and Wedgewood Golf Course, Route 59 and Caton Farm Road.

The city of Joliet and Cadence Premier Logistics last week began accepting supplies that will be taken to Hurricane Harvey victims in Texas.

People can also bring donations to City Hall, 150 W. Jefferson St., where donations are being collected in the parking lot along Des Plaines Street.

Dropoff hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Friday.

Accepted items include: toiletries; diapers; hand sanitizer; cleaning supplies; black construction-grade trash bags; mops and buckets; heavy-duty work gloves; latex/nitrile gloves; box fans; dog and cat food; pre-boxed or pre-packaged cases of bottled water; juice; diapers; and canned vegetables.
