She had 18 blocks over the weekend as Minooka went 5-0 at the Mother McAuley Preview. Hermann had 49 blocks entering the week to lead the 14-1 Indians and all local players.

Herron: What do you like most about your team?
Hermann: I love how we all push each other to work hard and always have each others' back no matter what, on and off the court. And we treat each other like family, like sisters.
Herron: What do you like most about your sport?
Hermann: I love how intense it is and how you have to stick with it. You have to stay on top of it since you never know what's coming over the net.
Herron: What do you like most about going to Minooka?
Hermann: I love the community that we have, it's great. All of the teachers, coaches, players and students are very supportive.
Herron: What class do you like most and what's in your future?
Hermann: I'd have to say anatomy. And I want to be a veterinarian for farm animals.
Herron: Who's your favorite sports team?
Hermann: My favorite team is the Chicago Bears.
Herron: Who would you have liked to meet?
Hermann: My grandpa passed before I was born and I heard some great stories about him.
Herron: Do you have any pets?
Hermann: I have two dogs, a Siberian Husky and Shepherd mix and a Swiss Shepherd mix.
Herron: Your favorite food and place to eat?
Hermann: Probably steak and Texas Roadhouse.
Herron: Your favorite TV show?
Hermann: The Walking Dead.
Herron: Your favorite type of music?
Hermann: I like all music, like rap, country or pop.
Herron: What do you do in your free time?
Hermann: I have a job at Lakewood Animal Hospital.
Herron: Top place you've been and where you'd like to visit?
Hermann: Colorado or Arizona and I'd like to go out of the country, like Greece or Germany.
