Main Street Lockport received a $15,000 grant from CN Railroad to beautify the area near the railroad tracks.
According to an email from Tina Keller, the president of Main Street Lockport, the grant was made possible with the help of an organization called America in Bloom. America in Bloom started with a garden outside of the Illinois State Museum.
Representatives from both CN Railroad and America in Bloom will be at a dedication of the CN Garden on Thursday.
