MORRIS – Immaculate Conception school’s capital campaign, Raising Generations, Building Community, achieved a $75,000 matching grant.
An anonymous donor came forward shortly before the conclusion of the 2016-17 school year and offered to match donations made during the summer of up to $75,000.
Thanks to the generosity of parishioners and many other friends of the Immaculate Conception parish, the $75,000 goal was reached and exceeded. To date, more than a half-million dollars has been raised to make enhancements to the school’s curriculum and facilities.
The campaign is ongoing, and the next major project will be the installation of new windows in the classroom portion of the school and enhancements to the science curriculum.
A special thanks is extended to the anonymous donor who recently presented the parish with a check for $75,000.
