Styf: Come to Heroes West on Tuesday for Hub Arkush and Pro Football Weekly live event

Since returning to Shaw Media in the fall of 2012, the best part of my job has been the people I get to work with.

People like our staff here.

And people like Hub Arkush.

If you follow the Bears or pro football, I’m sure you know Hub and Pro Football Weekly.

I’ve been lucky enough to know Hub as a person too. And, while football fans love to complain about his opinions (he’s usually right, so when he’s wrong it’s memorable), he’s one of the nicest people I know.

He’s someone who asked you “How’s it going?” and actually cares about the answer.

He doesn’t make a big deal out of it, but he gives of his time to charities such as Special Olympics and he’s a tireless student of the NFL game.

He’s knows it, he knows the Bears, he knows the people in the league who make things happen and he’s as informed as anyone about the NFL.

Next Tuesday, you’ll have a chance to interact with Hub and the Pro Football Weekly team face to face.

They’ll be at Heroes West in Joliet from 6 to 8 p.m. for a live event, discussing everything from the current team to the 2017-18 season to fantasy football.

PFW’s Arthur Arkush will be there, along with our newest PFW reporting addition, to give you insight on all the teams.

For those not around Joliet, you can watch the talk on Facebook Live.

But, if you’re around, you’ll want to be there in person at Heroes West.

For starters, there are drink and appetizer specials. Free raffles, giveaways, autographed items and Pro Football Weekly gear.

And there will be plenty of live question and answer time as well. So bring your appetite and your questions and we’ll see you there.
