First Bank of Manhattan announced the hiring of Tim Koltveit as an assistant vice president in the Agricultural Banking Department.
Born and raised in Pontiac, Koltveit was very active in 4-H and the FFA. He continues to volunteer his time promoting their missions. Koltveit earned a bachelor's degree at Augustana College in Rock Island, where he volunteered on an organic farm that provided the college with locally raised fruits and vegetables.
For the past seven years, Koltveit has been working in agricultural lending, and has experience with a wide variety of loan programs including FSA Youth and Farm Ownership loans. He completed Agricultural Credit School at Iowa State University in 2012.
