ROMEOVILLE – Lewis University was among the universities honored as a Bronze Seal Campus in the ALL INCampus Democracy Challenge, a non-partisan national awards program. Campuses with 50-59 percent voter participation in elections received the designation.
The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, in collaboration with higher education, seeks to make participation in local, state, and federal elections a social norm, increase the number of college students who are democratically engaged during and between elections, and educate students to graduate with the knowledge, skills, behaviors, and values needed to be informed and active citizens.
