JOLIET – Learn to make homemade cheese from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Joliet Public Library, 3395 Black Road in Joliet.
Mark Lyons, an experienced home cheesemaker, will show you how to make some simple cheeses right in your own kitchen.
He will also talk about the history of cheese making and discuss the ingredients, equipment, and techniques for making soft, hard and mold-ripened cheeses.
