JOLIET – The Joliet Drama Guild presents its sixth annual Madrigal Dinner, a true renaissance Christmas f and family show with music and great food.

A full sit-down dinner in the theater at the Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park! Performances are 7 p.m. Dec.15. and Dec. 16, and 1 p.m. Dec. 17.

The 2nd annual dinner benefit is 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 10 at Hope United Methodist Church,
2506 Caton Farm Road, Joliet

With musical direction from Marty Kaspar, the madrigal music from the Renaissance will be performed, along with other entertainment from the period and featuring the hilarious Masque A Little Knight Shtick.

The event will be catered by Jenny's Eats and Treats. Children ages 5 to 10 may have a half-portion meal. Children under 5 may nibble off their parents' plates for free. Pauper seats (no food, show only) are also available.

The Cast: "Jester: Master of Ceremonies Adam Rociles; "Town Crier" Ted Holste; "King" Matt Dodge; "Queen" Elyse Lorenz; "Knights" Jordan Willner, Justin Lessentine, Charles Lovett, Marty Kaspar; and "Ladies" Rachel Stella, Tammie Terry, Katherine White and Gabriela Skerrett.

The catered dinner by Jenny's Eats and Treats will include roast turkey breast with gravy, baked ham with honey glaze, baby russet potatoes with garlic and rosemary, glazed baby carrots, fresh cut fruit salad, water, fruit punch, iced tea, wassail for toasting (a warm apple cider, cranberry and cinnamon drink) and a special bread pudding for dessert. Seating is R.S.V.P. only

Tickets for the Dec. 15, Dec. 16 and Dec. 17 shows are $35 each, or $32 each with a group of 8 or more. There is a 1/2 portion Dinner meal available for children 5 to 10 years old for only $15. Children under 5 years old (little nibblers) are free with a paid adult ticket.

Pauper seats (without meal tickets) are $15 each. Children 5 to 10 years old are only $5 with an accompanying adult! Children under 5 years old only watching, no dinner, are free with an accompanying adult.
