JOLIET –The Manhattan Transfer, with over 40 years of jazz history, will be playing the Rialto Square Theatre on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.
The Manhattan Transfer created a unique jazz sound through its blend of acapella, vocalese, swing, standards, Brazilian jazz, rhythmic and blues and pop.
After going through many musical and band member changes throughout the band’s storied musical history, the newest iteration of the band will play the Rialto Square Theatre as part of its most current national tour.
Tim Hauser originally founded the band and spent his life developing the sweet unique sounds, that live on today even after his death. The release of "The Definitive Pop Collection," a 2-disc retrospective of the groups greatest hits takes a look back at some of the greatest musical bodies of work ever created.
