Lauren Staley-Ferry will be a great Will County clerk

To the Editor:

Lauren Staley-Ferry will make a great clerk of Will County.

I don’t think people should be judged by what happened to them 15, 20 or 25 years ago.

If we did, we would all be in trouble.

With Lauren’s 11 years’ experience at Capital One and her three-plus years on the Will County Board, she is just coming into the peak of her career.

She is young, strong, smart, hardworking and has outstanding computer skills and problem- solving abilities.

She has been an outstanding mother and wife to her son, Matthew, and husband, Eddie, and in the last five years not only did she work at Capital One and serve on the board but went back to school to get her college degree.

She is in excellent health, as shown by her daily work routine.

She has run in the last four Chicago Marathons and other charitable events, which require a rigid training schedule.

So, before you judge her character, maybe you should get to know her.

Michael B. Staley, Lauren’s dad

Joliet
