JOLIET – Will County Clerk Nancy Schultz Voots wants residents to be able to vote in the upcoming March General Primary Election.
“If Will County residents register early and utilize one of their early voting options, it will help eliminate long lines on Election Day,” Voots said in a statement.
County residents can register online until March 4 or by mail or in person until Feb. 20, according to a news release from the clerk’s office.
Visit thewillcountyclerk.com and click on the “register to vote” quick link at the top of the page to register online. Residents can also complete and print out a form to mail. Residents who might have moved from Will County can mail the “change of address” section from their voter cards into the clerk’s office or use the “voter registration change of address” link on the clerk’s website.
A former or new resident of the county or someone who had a name change needs to re-register with the election authority of the county in which they reside. Visit thewillcountyclerk.com or the Will County Clerk’s Facebook page for more information.
