JOLIET – Ricky Nelson’s sons will be at the Rialto Square Theatre on March 30 to perform their “Ricky Nelson Remembered” concert. Nelson died in 1985.
Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, twin sons of the one-time teen idol and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, will perform Ricky Nelson hits including “Poor Little Fool,” “Hello Mary Lou,” “Travelin’ Man,” “I’m Walking,” “Garden Party,” and more, the Rialto said in a news release.
Ricky Nelson emerged as a pop music star in the 1950s after already being familiar to the nation as part of the Nelson family in the radio and television show, “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet.”
