Joliet church to host Irish Mass and Dinner.

JOLIET – St. Patrick Catholic Church in Joliet will host an Irish Mass and dinner.

The event is Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 710 W. Marion St., Joliet.

Bagpipe Mass starts 4 p.m. Dinner and entertainment is from 4 to 8 p.m. Irish stew ($15) and corned beef and cabbage ($13) dinners (soda bread and dessert included) will be served.

Corned beef sandwich platters ($10), pasta for the kids ($5) and family dinner for four ($20) also will be available.

Entertainment includes Brian McKee on the bagpipes as well as Irish and folk music from group Rustic Detour and the Keigher Irish Dancers.
