Plainfield schools hold Battle of the Books contests

PLAINFIELD – On Feb. 2, many Plainfield School District 202 elementary schools hosted “Students versus Teachers” Battle of the Books contests, in which student teams read a number of books over winter break.

The teams then competed by answering questions about each book. The top grade winners then got to battle the teacher teams. The middle schools also host Battle of the Books and each school’s winner advanced to the District 202 battle Feb. 22 at Timber Ridge Middle School.
