JOLIET – A Joliet man allegedly cut, stabbed and stole from another man, according to a criminal complaint filed in Will County court.
On Feb. 22, Stephon D. Turner, 23, of the 400 block of East Jackson Street, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery and aggravated battery in connection with the incident.
Turner allegedly used a knife Feb. 21 with the intent to kill another man, according to the criminal complaint. He allegedly cut, stabbed and robbed the man of his cellphone.
Turner was booked into the Will County jail and his bond was set at $3 million. If he were somehow able to come up with the money for his release from jail, Turner must surrender his firearm owner’s identification card within two days of getting out of custody.
Turner is being represented by attorney Robert Lewin.
