No one was injured after a three-car collision Friday morning that involved a Troy School District 30-C bus in Shorewood.
Emergency crews responded about 7:45 a.m. to the intersection of River Road and Black Road for a crash involving multiple vehicles.
“It appears someone had stopped to turn left into a business, and another car rear-ended that car and pushed it into the school bus,” Troy Fire Chief Andy Doyle said.
Three children were on the bus, but none were injured. The bus needed to be towed because its suspension was affected, Shorewood Police Deputy Chief Eric Allen said. About eight people refused medical attention, Allen said. It was not clear if anyone was cited.
