Traffic may be reduced to one lane on parts of Theodore Street in Joliet, starting Monday.

The city will be completing a resurfacing project on Theodore Street from Drauden Road to County Line Road, according to a news release from City Manager David Hales’ office.

The road will remain open during construction, but traffic may be reduced to one lane at times, the release said. The road will be fully open during nonworking hours.

The work will likely be completed by Aug. 3.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution and seek alternate routes when traveling in the area, according to the release.
