Romeoville woman wins Linden Oaks Behavioral Health and Breaking Free Run for Recovery 5K

The Linden Oaks Behavioral Health and Breaking Free Run for Recovery 5K was held on Sept. 15 at Waubonsie Lake Park in Aurora.

The overall and men’s winner was Ed Bernal of Aurora with a time of 20:46. The women’s winner was Abbey Csuk of Romeoville with a time of 23:46.

The event is a partnership between Linden Oaks and Breaking Free to support those fighting addiction, remember those who’ve lost their lives and celebrate those in recovery. Proceeds benefit addiction programs and services.

Linden Oaks offers a variety of services at each stage of the addiction and recovery process, including four levels of addiction care and specialized programs for adults and adolescents including dual diagnosis, detoxification, and residential options.
