Since 1993 Operation Christmas Child has sent gift filled shoeboxes as a tangible expression of God’s love to hurting children all over the world. Shoeboxes are filled with school supplies, personal care items, clothing, small toys and more.

Come help us attempt to pack over 2000 shoebox gifts to bless children this year. All ages welcome but children under 7 need to pack shoeboxes with an adult. This is a free event, but monetary donations are needed to help cover the cost of shipping.

Come when you can. After a short time of training, you may help pack shoebox gifts as long as you are able.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Christian Youth Center, located at 508 W. Illinois Ave. in Morris. Registration is not required.
