Noonan Elementary Academy first-graders germinated their bean seeds by placing the seed along with a damp folded paper towel in a sealed ziplock bag.
The bags were taped to the window to receive heat from the sun and to provide for excellent viewing for the excited planters.
A centimeter ruler was taped
to the bag to aid in measuring growth, and students will graph
the bean growth over the next couple of months.
