Holly Club to host 129-year-old tradition in Joliet

The Holly Club, which began in 1889, will host its “Dashing through the Snow Holly Club Ball” on Dec. 15 at the Renaissance Center, 214 N. Ottawa St., Joliet.

The event will include a chance to win a 14-karat white gold dancing diamond necklace valued at $1,000, courtesy of Paolucci Diamond Center.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing at 7 p.m. Music is by the High Society Orchestra. Black tie is optional. Valet parking is available.
