The Silver Cross Foundation raised $150,585 at its 27th Annual Charity Golf Classic.
Held at Crystal Tree Country Club in Orland Park on June 25, 144 golfers came out to support Silver Cross Hospital.
Proceeds from the event will help fund advanced equipment, including the new Globus ExcelsiusGPS Spine Robot and provide continuing education for the staff with The Midwest Institute for Robotic Surgery at Silver Cross Hospital.
Among the many donors and sponsors at this year’s outing, the top sponsors contributing $5,000 or more includedBrown & Brown Insurance, Inc., D’Arcy GMC- Buick, Elite Ambulance, EM Strategies, First Midwest Bank,Kurtz Ambulance, MBRE Healthcare, PFS Group, Reed Construction and the Silver Cross medical staff.
Tracy Simons, executive director of the Silver Cross Foundation, said in a news release, thanked the generosity of "our many friends, sponsors, golfers and event volunteers."
