To the Editor:
Rep. Adam Kinzinger went to social media to take a stand against his boss, President Trump, and how the president is handling the death of this Washington Post columnist.
Let me point out a few things to Rep. Kinzinger. In the first place, Donald Trump is the president; secondly, you, Adam, are not privy to the classified information that the president is, so let your boss handle this situation for now.
As for me, I am not concerned over this murder, it happens all the time over there and here. What I am concerned with is why four brave men were murdered in Benghazi and who was behind it.
Who sent the ambassador to Benghazi and why? Why was our military stopped from helping? There was a force not more than three hours away and they were stopped from helping. At whose orders, and why? This is what you should have been investigating all this time.
I would also like to ask you, representative, your thoughts on how this Saudi issue would have been handled if Obama were still president? How did you react when Obama bowed to the Saudi king? I would think in this situation Obama would not only have bowed, but got on his knees and licked the king’s sandals.
If you do not think the president is doing the right thing, ask for a meeting with him to talk things over. You as a Republican representative can do this. I can’t. That is how men handle things. You have no need to pop off in social media. I mean, exactly who are you trying to impress, and to what end? This should be the question the next time you ask for someone’s vote.
