A Crest Hill woman has been charged in DuPage County with stealing more than $400,000 from a Hinsdale dental office where she worked as a part-time bookkeeper, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
Roxana Dusanek, 56, of 1334 Harvest Drive, Crest Hill, was jailed on a $300,000 bond. She is charged with theft, continuing financial crimes enterprise and forgery.
While working at the dental office, Dusanek created a stamp of her employer’s signature without permission and applied that stamp to hundreds of unauthorized checks that were payable to her and her business, IMC Services Group, the state's attorney's office said.
Dusanek also sent unauthorized payments from her employer’s bank account to her business’ bank account, with the thefts allegedly took place between Feb. 13, 2014 and June 23, 2017, according to the state's attorney's office.
