Each year’s NHS senior students select a staff member who exemplifies the characteristics of the National Honor Society. This year, the graduating NHS members selected Bradley Dorick as the honorary member of the year.

Also, during the ceremony, Amy Strohman, Minooka Class of 2009 alum and former NHS president, was the evening’s guest speaker.

National Honor Society candidates must meet the chapter’s requirements for scholarship, service, leadership and character in order to be selected for membership. Once members, students continue to exemplify these traits through numerous academic, social and civic efforts.

The Minooka National Honor Society sponsor is Donna Engel, and the assistant sponsor is Anthony Babich.
