A 92-year-old Wilmington man died Friday, almost 10 days after he was involved in a car crash in Jackson Township.

William C. Quigley died just before 10:45 a.m. Friday in Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center's intensive care unit, according to a news release from the Will County Coroner's Office.

Quigley was reportedly involved in a crash Dec. 12 at the intersection of Route 53 and Manhattan Road in Jackson Township.

Illinois State Police are investigating the incident, but did not have any more information Saturday.

The final cause and manner of Quigley's death will be determined after further review of medical records and police reports, the release said.
