Second grade students at Indian Trail School in Frankfort recently dug into technology with a variety of technology-driven activities.
Some classes are using the technology to learn more about the world around them. Classes had an opportunity engaging in an interactive video chat with different classroom around the United States.
Students were able to compare and contrast their classroom experiences to others. Students were also able to learn about different communities and climate of other states.
At the end of each lesson, second-graders enjoyed a question and answer session with their new friends.
Other classrooms spent time learning proper typing skills using an interactive program.
Other students had the opportunity to try out their math skills using technology.
