Constituents of the 11th U.S. Congressional District are invited to join Rep. Bill Foster, D-Naperville, for the opening of his new office Saturday in Joliet.
Foster recently moved from his office on nearby Springfield Avenue to the new location at 815 N. Larkin Ave., Suite 206.
The congressman is inviting constituents to the opening of the new office from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. and a casework team will be available to answer questions from constituents about federal issues pertaining to immigration, passports, visas, Social Security, Medicare benefits, the IRS, the Veterans Administration, among others.
“I’ve been proud to have my office as part of the Joliet community over the past six years and am excited to open a new office location to serve the people of Joliet and Will County in the years to come,” Foster said.
Foster has another district office in Aurora.
The 11th District stretches from Aurora to parts of Naperville, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, Shorewood, New Lenox and Joliet.
