Local art and entertainment: April 15 through April 22

Dan Danielson will demonstrate his watercolor techniques at 7 p.m. April 17 at the Homer Township Public Library. He studied at the American Academy of Art, studying under well renown, Irving Shapiro. After a creative director career in advertising, Danielson began painting full-time and teaching. In 2018 Danielson won a spot in the prestigious National Transparent Watercolor Show in with his watercolor of a hippopotamus. Currently, he teaches at the DuPage Art Leagueand other regional groups.
