Why Kleffman was selected: The Porters senior pitcher was the Most Valuable Player of the initial WJOL Tournament following victories in the semifinal and title games. After getting a win in relief as Lockport rallied for an 8-7 win over Lincoln-Way Central, she threw a perfect game for 6 and 1/3 innings before settling for a one-hitter in a 2-0 title win over Joliet West.
