Old Canal Days, the annual Lockport festival, is set to begin this weekend.
The carnival begins 5 p.m. Thursday and the rest of the festivities run from Friday through Sunday. The parade will be 6 p.m. Friday and run along State Street starting at the intersection with Third Street and ending at the intersection of Washington and 12th streets.
Old Canal Days will feature live music, the parade, tours, a 100-booth craft and arts fair, antiques show, food vendors, a beer garden, a wine tent and more.
One new feature this year will be trolley tours of the city’s historic district conducted by the Lockport Area Genealogical and Historical Society on Saturday and Sunday.
