FEEG Group sponsored its 5th annual gala to help Will County seniors and youth

The FEEG Group sponsored its 5th annual gala on April 13 at the Joseph and Sarah Levy Center in Bolingbrook. FEEG stands for Focus Excellent Extraordinary and Goals.

Its mission is to support seniors and mentor youth.

Present at the event was three of the Every Day Hero recipients including Director Eric Kimble, Joette Doyle and Alicia Guerrero. Doyle was recently elected as a board member for Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202.

Local rap artist Cortrezz performed. Chris Phills of Phills Sports Academy presented at the event.

Illinois Department of Corrections officer Dennis Williams spoke of the need for mentoring programs to prevent the rate of youth becoming incarcerated.

The FEEG Group sponsors an array of programs throughout the year, including a free summer sports camp for youth and programs to help support seniors in Will County.
