Joliet Public Schools District 86 named Nicole Bottigliero the new principal at Eisenhower Academy.
Bottigliero was the assistant principal at Washington Junior High School and Academy Program for the past two years, according to a news release. She also worked in Chicago Public Schools for nine years.
“With her background in Chicago and experience at Washington Junior High, I am confident Mrs. Bottigliero will do an outstanding job and continue the great things that are occurring at Eisenhower Academy,” District Superintendent Theresa Rouse said in the release.
Bottigliero graduated with her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Illinois State University and earned her master’s degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education.
