A 77-year-old Frankfort man was killed after his vehicle collided with an Amtrak train in University Park, according to the Will County Coroner’s Office.
Richard E. Millette was pronounced dead by the coroner’s office at 7:18 p.m. Sunday in University Park.
The coroner’s office said Millette was the driver of a box truck that collided with an Amtrak train at the intersection of Governors Highway and University Parkway in University Park.
The University Park police is investigating the incident. The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date, according to the coroner’s office.
