Joliet criminal law attorney recognized for work

The American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys has recognized the exceptional performance of Illinois Criminal Law Attorney Cosmo J. Tedone as Two Years 10 Best Criminal Law Attorneys for Client Satisfaction.

The American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys is a third-party attorney rating organization that publishes an annual list of the Top 10 Criminal Law attorneys in each state.

Before forming the law firm Tedone & Morton P.C., Tedone was the senior associate with Chuck Bretz and Associates P.C. for eight years. He also served as assistant public defender and in a private practice in the area of insurance defense and general civil litigation. He was involved with several appeals that resulted in three murder convictions being overturned in 2011.

With more than 20 years of experience, Tedone’s current practice emphasizes criminal defense (DUI, suspended driver licenses, drugs, domestic battery, homicide and appeals), personal injury and secretary of state hearings.

Tedone represents clients in litigation matters before federal and state courts, arbitration and administrative agencies. He has had many years of experience as a litigator, trying more than 50 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials and motions.

Tedone can be reached at 815-666-1285 or www.tedonemortonlaw.com. His firm has offices in Joliet and Plainfield.

Attorneys who are selected to the “10 Best” list must pass AIOCLA’s rigorous selection process, which is based on client and/or peer nominations, thorough research, and AIOCLA’s independent evaluation.

AIOCLA’s annual list was created to be used as a resource for clients during the attorney selection process.
