Doesn’t matter if Fox turns on Trump

To the Editor:

The latest news is that Fox is turning against President Trump. We, the people, elect our politicians, and it doesn’t matter what the Dems’ media says. We the people, will elect the president and any other public official we want.

Boy, they really are turning up the heat. Seems to me we are paying them to not do what we want them to do, but what their rich and famous cronies want them to do. But then again, I live in a dream world.

Folks, let’s just take a look at what the Dems’ are offering us, and let’s get real. I guess the rich cronies and their politicians will win out in the end. They offer free stuff, including big money, to all the voters and supporters for them, which, by the way, we, the people, have to work and pay for.

What Constitution? What free country? What educational system? Think before you vote! We need term limits and new performance requirements.

Even Shepard Smith has a limit

To the Editor:

As I have said many times, I do not watch the propaganda on the Fox News network. It was designed by Roger Ailes to be a vehicle to skew facts, sway opinion to his belief and make their gullible audience think Fox presents an unbiased view.

In order to do so, they put a shill in their propaganda so they can say both sides are presented. As long as the shill doesn’t get too far off of the scripted talking points, Ailes kept his job and huge salary.

Sometimes money doesn’t beat out integrity forever. Shepard Smith apparently has decided he no longer can be the shill for Donald Trump and the owner of Fox News, Rupert Murdoch. He must have decided to tell the unvarnished truth instead of lying about what Trump is doing.

Trump lives by what the Fox News talking heads say. When Smith kept going off the rails by criticizing Trump, his days were numbered. Trump talked to his stooge, Attorney General Barr. Barr had a conversation with Murdoch, who had a conversation with Smith. Smith has “resigned” because Trump thought he was being a disloyal, and we all know what that means.

Ask all those staffers and department secretaries who couldn’t stomach “loyalty” to Trump instead of to the country. I’m sure Shepard Smith will land on his feet at another position under his golden parachute and nondisclosure agreement.

I give Smith a one-handed clap for finally coming into the light after 23 years. I guess he finally reached his limit for deception.

The CTU teachers’ strike

To the Editor:

It’s time to pull out the heavy artillery to start cutting costs, salaries, pensions, buildings, maintenance and start using alternatives to put pressure on the unions.

No. 1 would be online computer-aided instruction like the universities and colleges have, a rich experience, with sound color, movies, live animation. No. 2 would be private schools with state subsidies or vouchers. No. 3 would be religious schools. No. 3 would also be home schooling; however, many parents would not be available or qualified.
