You see, this place might be in the middle of Illinois, but the fish is fresh and quality. They had 50-cent oyster specials and $3.50 Bloody Marys on Sundays that I have to check out, but this day after checking out all the specials, I went with a bowl of lobster bisque ($10).
Wow, was it good.
The menu says it's s smooth, rich, creamy lobster soup with hints of sherry and cayenne pepper. But it wasn't spicy, just smooth and delicious.
Along with the soup, I tried a Rogue Dead Guy Ale, a German Mailbock that hit the spot.
For my main course, I had a great debate.
