We started our dinner with an order of bruschetta from the appetizer section. The bruschetta was very thinly sliced and crispy with an enticing aroma of garlic and perfectly seasoned tomatoes on top.
Four sizable bruschetta gave each of our diners an opportunity to sample the appetizer and everyone agreed that the bruschetta was tasty.
Several specials were available, and one member of our party decided on the “Tour of Italy”.
The “Tour of Italy” was a sampler platter of lasagna, cheese ravioli, and fettuccine Alfredo. Included with the special was choice of 2 soups of the day and salad bar.
The salad bar provided all of the fixings for a tasty salad, along with many side items. There were a wide variety of dressings and pepper grinders were available to add a finishing touch of spice.
Choices of side salads included pasta salads and beets. Big, chunky pickles were a choice.
Our diner chose vegetable barley soup, which was served piping hot, and was full of chunky vegetables including potatoes, celery, tomatoes, onions, and carrots.
