Multi-instrumentalist John Narcissi uses talents to bless others
Seven years ago, John Narcissi's father, also John Narcissi, suggested the son host a Christmas party at Daybreak Center in Joliet.
The younger Narcissi, then 15 and a sophomore at Providence High School in New Lenox, had service hours to fill, so he agreed. Since then, Narcissi, now 22, has made the party an annual event.
"For my eighth-grade confirmation, I had come up with a personal goal of becoming an instrument of peace through music," Narcissi said. "And there's no better way to share that music and further that goal than by bringing cheer through music there, too."
