What to expect from a microlaser peel

SPONSORED

Are you looking for an effective non-surgical procedure to rejuvenate your skin? Look no further than the microlaser peel.

The Eterna MedSpa & Laser Vein Center treatment can help eliminate wrinkles, age spots, and fine lines.

What is the process?

With the procedure, a laser is used to remove the outer layers of the skin. During the healing process, new skin cells form, improving the skin’s overall appearance.

To prepare for the peel, the skin is numbed with a topical. The client and an Eterna MedSpa esthetician will also discuss the desired results of treatment. Depending on skin type, condition and improvement goals, the depth of the peel can vary, from four microns to 40 microns.

“Most people come in for a 10 to 20 micros,” said Kathe Malinowski, lead esthetician and marketing manager for Eterna MedSpa & Laser Vein Center.

Microlaser peels are ideal for patients with little downtime to spare. The healing time for this procedure is from two to six days depending on the depth of the peel. On the first day, a patient’s skin will generally feel tender – similar to a sunburn. The following day, skin will feel noticeably tighter.

“Around the fourth day they will start peeling,” Malinowski said. “The peeling is the downtime mostly. This can be covered with makeup or tinted sunscreen. Once all the dead skin is peeled off, the smooth skin is revealed.”

Treatments are recommended in a series of three to help maintain optimal results

“With a good product regimen and good skincare maintenance, it can last,” Malinowski said.

If you are after smoother, more radiant skin, consider a microlaser peel from Eterna MedSpa.
