JOLIET - A Chicago man was arrested Saturday after he was allegedly seen masturbating on the porch of a Joliet residence.
The incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. in the 200 block of North Hickory Street.
According to Deputy Chief Ed Gregory, a 32-year-old man heard a noise on the porch outside and looked out to see Omarr I. Fahim, 27, with his pants down.
"It appeared Fahim was looking into the window next door where some small children were playing," Gregory said. Fahim has allegedly trespassed on the property before, witnesses told police.
Fahim, of the 6500 block of South Woodlawn Avenue, was arrested on charges of public indecency and criminal trespassing. Gregory said police reviewed surveillance video of Fahim on the porch and also found he was carrying two crack pipes.
In February, Fahim and Pierre L. Cole, 27, were arrested by Shorewood police after forcing their way into a 64-year-old man's house in the 300 block of Cardinal Place. Police said Fahim and Cole knew the victim, who was cut during a struggle when he attempted to leave.
Cole was arrested Thursday by Joliet police on a charge of theft and remains in the Will County jail.
